In addition to the technical challenge participants in the planning game particularly have to learn to handle the interdisciplinary and intercultural challenge under difficult communication conditions. The learning and experience targets aimed at are: 

  • Application of learned specialist knowledge in a practical example,
  • Working in interdisciplinary and international teams,
  • Application of information and communications technology (ICT) as well as VR 3D planning tools of the Digital Factory in physically and temporally separated planning teams and
  • Dealing with and solving conflicts in the team due to restricted communications and coping with customer requirements that do not match with the planning scheme of the team.
