Virtual Product Development

Cooperation with Siemens AG

In December, students from the faculties of Production Management and Mechanical Engineering took part in a virtual business game for product development at Siemens AG. In the two-day business game, the students had to carry out a product modification with the corresponding development process in spatially distributed teams. The development was carried out according to a process model of quality gate control. This gave the students a very realistic impression of the challenges of international product development in international companies and enabled them to develop their personality considerably.
